Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries, then
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he hollers,
Tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

Put these words
upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom..."

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply
The inheritance tax.

If either of the Democratic candidates manage to win the white house, we will see these taxes rise without a doubt.

actually the taxes come from the gov in general not dems or reps.

and actually i have seen more taxes with bush than i ever did with clinton. and everyone i know is the same way. and i also had more money in my pocket in clinton era than bush era

actions are louder than words. remember that

Like texas said both sides do it alot. Republicans just tend to be alot more sneaky about it. They will cut a tax then on the side either create a new one or raise a different one. Remember that quote"No new taxes". Yeah

Both sides are out to get your money

Meh, both parties I've seen touting "tax the rich! Give the little guy a break!", but they never seem to carry through. I like Ron Paul's tax policy a lot better, which actually planned to implement some real changes rather than just shifting things around within the status quo. I'm all for abolishing the income tax and reigning in big spending; there doesn't even seem to be a law mandating an income tax, and generally taxes are supposed to be voluntary (in other words; you don't buy it, they don't tax you).

Speaking of big spending, there's something I can guarantee you the democrats will blow up to mamoth proportions beyond even the Bush administration! And that's pretty damn impressive considering how out of control it's become under the Republicans.

Both sides do it but the Democrats do it more. With their personal agendas and pro welfare ways.

For some reason most politicians think that they can spend our money better than we can.

For some reason most politicians think that they can spend our money better than we can.

Politicians don't spend the revenue. They simply allocate funding. They don't sit there and crunch numbers, they have people do it for them. They have no idea how that money is being spent, whether it's being spent efficiently, in some cases if it's spent at all.

The people that work for the government are people. It's simply a reflection of who we are as people. If people could spend money better than the government can, is that why half the population is in some kind of debt? They can't even manage their own financial situation, how do you think they can handle the allocation of trillions of dollars?
