Orange peel spray

Has anyone used "Orange Peel" spray (a solution made out of orange peel covered in boiling water for 24hrs, strained and sprayed) as a natural insecticide/solution for the plant?

i just bought some orange peal extract for this reason

ive read alot about its properties on small insects/pests

use in conjunction with alittle seaweed, mollasses, compost, and the orange peel extract should provide a great fighting qualities

another thing i forgot to add is
when boiling your solution you could have adverse effects on its properties
the stuff i bought is cold pressed and is supposed to retain all the fighting properties
