I've been so pleased with my recovering plants that I almost forgot Weedhound's request for an update...just a recap...my two Oasis plants were initially overfed, freezing to death, and generally miserable...the horrible memory of those times is embodied in pic #1...then, thanks in great part to your terrific advice, I rejigged their feed, got myself an aquarium heater, and lo and behold! pics #2 and 3....
The pix don't do it justice as there's a yellow hue to the images, but suffice it to say all is very green indeed. Flowering has begun...look forward to the next 4 - 5 weeks of continued health...you'll note that they're stretching a bit, so I'm beginning to LST gently...have had success with this in the past so I'm not too worried about stressing them...
all best

Excuse my ignorance, but can you explain what is LST? My plants are also stretching.

LST is 'low stress training'...I'm arguably NOT using LST even though I said I was as most people understand LST to begin in the early stages, when one ties down the main stem (so that it's practically horizontal / parallel to the ground) in order to encourage side branches to grow and flower ...a good description of this method can be found at Marijuana Growing - DUBMAN'S guide to low stress training (LST) (http://www.marijuanagrowing.eu/cannabis2335.html)
What I'm really doing is training the main stem to bend quite late in the day (like a 45 degree angle) so side branches have some time to catch up and, hopefully, flower more than they otherwise would. The plant gets 'bushier' that way. Let me add that I'm still a 'newbie' as this is only my third grow! I'm sure more experienced hands would have more to say on the subject.
best,

Thanks for the explanation buddy. Looks like I am doing the same thing like you without knowing the term :) I am doing it because of the limited versical space I have - I can not lift my lamps anymore, so I bend my plants as the only solution.
