Ok well I'm getting randomly drug tested by my university. The contract was that I am to receive 4 random drug tests per semester for two consecutive semesters. So I'm on my second semester doing this I just finished three drug tests and now when I called in I have my final one. Now I'm not stupid so I'm definitely e-mailing the board to confirm that I don't have to call in anymore and that I am finished with the drug testing program for good. If they give me a good response and if its been a week since the drug test today then I feel that it is safe to smoke again despite the fact that there are still a few weeks left in school.

My brother on the other hand thinks otherwise. For some reason he has this idea in his head that they are cut throat and will do anything to screw me over. He feels that it is a trick and they are only doing this to catch me off guard just so they can throw in one more random before the end of the school year. Of course they're not out to get me. I broke the law and my university's law by smoking pot and now I am subjected to random drug testing. Is this legislation wrong? by all means yes. But does this mean they are out to get me even if it means breaking a legal contract and literally lying to my face? You guys tell me what you think. Who's right and who's wrong?

I think you're right and i'd blaze as soon after the last drug test as possible.

lol thanks. Well unfortunately he was right but for the wrong reasons. Apparently I misread the contract and it said that it will issue a MINIMUM of 4 drug tests not a MAXIMUM. Which basically means they can drug test me however many times they feel it is necessary from the start to the end of the semester. Of course my brother is still wrong in the notion that they can legally break a contract. In this case by issuing more drug tests their not breaking any contract. Just glad I got that cleared up, otherwise it would have been tragic.

Its a shame that the colleges are getting into this drug testing so heavily. What used to be a bastion of independent thoughts and ideas are becoming more and more just manufacturing plants churning out more robots.

eh I think there was ever a time of independent thinking in college. Of course they did breed some free thinkers but lets face it the majority of the population are not free thinkers. I don't even think I'm a free thinker. The whole reason the education system came about in the first place anyway was so that people could think alike. It's so stupid how my art teachers proclaim that the only good way to think is to freely think yet there isn't a day that goes by where they don't sit here and tell me what good art and what is bad art. These day's good art is all about abstractions. The more abstract and less meaning within a painting the better it is. I call shenanigans!

there are things I hate about America such as this but there are also many things which I love. I mean I grew up here. This is where my life is and unless the shit hits the fan big time I'm not leaving. I think it would be cool to visit Canada and other Countries but I certainly wouldn't live anywhere else. Oh and btw Canada's great and all but it's not free. The only Free Countries in this World are those third World Countries where their government collapsed. We still have a government in our countries telling us what we can and can't do and despite the fact that Canada has legalized bud there are other things which they prohibit you from doing. You're Country is just a little more free than ours.
