Question on Mini-Waterpipe cleaning

Hey all! Havent posted in a bit but had a good question for you. I have had hundreds of pipes over the years but about a year ago i bought somthing new to me. Its a "Mini" Waterpipe. Its a glass piece. Here is the problem im having, Sometimes i dont use a screen when I am smoking the real expensive shit I dont use one, how do i get the small marijuana matter out of the bottom where the water goes??? There is no way to scrub in there or evaporate it. Usually i use the purple power alcohol cleaning solution stuff but it just will not eliminate all the plant matter in the bottom I just cant get it out and im a fanatic about having that thing tasting clean so I can try out differant strains. Please help! Anyone with some pointers of a good solution to use to break up that plant matter since i cant get to it with a pipe cleaner, thank you!!!

I put rubbing alcohol, salt, and uncooked rice in my water pipe and shake it vigorously. Seems to remove most of that caked-on gunk.

Here's some more info.
Edit: For the stale pot smell, try a final soak in Listerine after you clean out the tar, and then rinse with hot water.

Thank you so much for the help! Im still having problems though getting that last bit out of the bottom! any idea of anything taht willjust eat it all up ? heheeh
