Time to grow some plants, again.
Just got back from the hydro store.
Seeds just starting to crack after a couple days in h2o.

Hope everyone's ready to see some plants grown!

I'll mostly use this as a log but will also post B.S. from time to time.

Best of luck with the grow! I'll be keeping my eye on your log, looks like you've got things set up just the way you want them.

Also, be careful about germinating those seeds on your modem (or whatever that is), I tried this once with my cable receiver, and it got way too hot. Ended up having one seedling pop through the shell with cotyledons first, as opposed to root first! It was pretty weird.

Your using big words for my little vocabulary. quick tell me what the cotyledons are?

anywho, that's a external harddrive that took a crap and lost all my music. It's lucky i didn't throw it as hard as i could against my wall to see it blow up. I've used it before for germination but i'm not sure it will even generate enough kinetic energy without the hard drive spinning.

Haha, the cotyledons are the first little set of round leaves before the true (serrated) leaves show.

My cable receiver gets pretty damn warm when on (100+F), which I'm sure caused it to sprout all funky. The coty's popped out of the shell first, and the taproot remained inside... which usually happens the other way around. Also, it wasn't green, but almost pure white! It was a pretty odd little mutant, to say the least. I didn't even bother trying to grow that one.
