SSV question

I wanted to know what temp is working best for you guys. I have mine at about 2 or 3 o clock and see little mist sometimes, but not sure if it's in the ideal location. Also, I am filling my bowls about halfish and stirring when I taste a little burn, then stir again, then clear. Any other tips with this particular vap?

I use 12-1. 2-3 is too high on mine. I've heard others say they use a 'noonish' setting too. "see little mist sometimes"?. That's all you get on exhale at 2-3? Wow. Doesn't sound right to me. Are you hitting it too hard maybe? Watch your heater when you hit. It should definitely be reddish before you take a draw. Mine is at 12-1. If all the red goes away as you hit, you may be lowering the temp too much with your strong airflow. I find the SSV to be very forgiving on how you hit it, but a vape ain't a bong. The easier you hit, the more heat you'll apply to the bowl contents. This vape also has a pretty narrow focus to the air stream, so you'll have to stir the bowl a few times (a lot if you load it up) to get all the herb exposed.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping you'd reply you are very knowledgeable on here. So, I should have been seeing quite a bit of mist? Even at 12-1?

I wish I could return this item, I just got a great deal on the Extreme, me and my impatience. Oh well, I'll post it locally and see what happens, but usually most people aren't looking for a vaporizer, lol.

Ever sold on Ebay? It's not that hard. And the SSV will sell. Just provide a pic and say it's only been used a few times. Or maybe hang onto it until you know you're satisfied with the Extreme. ;) I know I can't imagine letting go of mine.
