I just want some people with experience to tell me if my set up is ok.
I am running a drip system, and am worried about the following.
1. I am getting to much water on the stem due to the water jet.
2. The hydroton far from where the water drips is not getting replenished with fresh nutrient solution. Although it stays wet.
Should I be worried?
Could I have just one little drip per plant? or the more jets/drips the better?

you might run your feed-lines into a 'ring' that encircles the plant, or just stick them into the hydroton, to minimize splash ... I wouldn't worry too much about the 'distribution' of the solution, the roots should seek out what it wants, I would think ... (all that white stuff is baking soda residue, when I was using it for pH adjustment, you can see it makes a mess, not recommended) ... I'm no expert, only on my 3rd hydro grow, so take that for what it's worth ... good luck ...

Just grabbed 2 8 pack Bucket Set ups My self 3 days ago. Just set them up I'm nervous that there is to much water coming out of the rings should I adjust Valves or Just leave them wide open. Right now I slowed them down to a slow steady Drip. I transplanted peat pellets into the Buckets the guy @ the Hydro sore said no worries. I took them out of four inch pots and cleaned roots really good they are about 8-10 inches they seem to be OK. Everyone says if the system is not fully Recirculating that the buckets will be off with the TDS but I checked all the buckets and they seem to be the same. When i get the Reservoir set I open the Last two pails fr about 1 1/2 gallons each. Does that sound right?
