Newb question - how long do effects last?

Newb question. Since most of my edibles have fallen somewhat flat, I've never had a really good edibles experience (aside from the first time I ate brownies, I got really f-ed up but didn't know what to expect so failed to take good notes)

So my question is, how long should the effects of "good" edibles last?

Well... the effects of an "average" amount of eaten weed kicks in in about 2-3 hours, the high lasts for some 3 hours, or a bit more, and the effects still persist for some good 12 hours or more...
So, in short, if you eat weed and get high from it, you only will be properly sober again the next day. :thumbsup::stoned:
