Hey,
I got a kif press and have the general idea down. Unscrew, put kif in between the plastic, rescrew and let sit, occasionally screwing it tighter. Looking around the internet though, I saw slight variations in the methods.
One suggested that once you screw it together, you put it in the freezer for 4 hours. Another suggested letting it sit in room temperature for 8 hours.
Does anyone have experience with either/both of these methods? Which seems like it would work better. I'm also kinda concerned about the metal in the freezer, would the cold mess the threading on the endcaps up (since some metals shrink slightly in the cold).
Thanks :D Just got it today so still playing around, any input is appreciated.
EDIT: I thought this was kinda relevant so I thought I'd include it. The site recommending 8 hours in room temperature also said that the body heat from your hands twisting the caps shut would kinda fuse/melt (for lack of a better word) the kif together.
