Hey guys, was just wanting to know what the average yeild per plant would be using this method. Taking into consideration im using bagseed (good bud) and using a 400w hps using soil and also using autopots with strait perlite.
My ph is 6.5-7
Temps are 76 (lights off)-86 (lights on)
Im using canna nutes and root booster.
Also about how long would it take for them to show sex and about how long would it take from seed to harvest ?
If anyone has tried this and can offer advice that would be great :)
Peace Yall

1 oz per plant
3 months from seed to harvest give or take a week or 2
bagseed would be less a yield
nirvana seeds is on here front page
quality seed from my experience and only £20
if you press forum home you'll see the nirvana banner

also, about how tall will they get ?
Its pro you got that much yeild as most ppl have said 7-8grams per plant. But im keen to know how you did that and what steps you took :)

the above plant was grown from seed under 12/12
but i put it under another bulp at lights out for 4 hrs as it increases the yield X2
about 2 oz per plant
height = just over half a meter
i'll measure later for sure

Darbolah, the best way to do it is wait to go to 12/12 until you see that the nodes have gone alternating, indicating sexual maturity. That gives the plants less stress, and more time to concentrate on building a good root mass and plant structure before the flowering hormones kick in. Just remember, they won't flower until they are sexually mature anyway, so you aren't really saving time by doing 12/12 from seed.

and you want your temps more 76 day and 68 night...86 is kinda pushing it with heat...IMO

thanks stinky, iv been chasing your good advice for a while on this, i just didnt want to bother you. The thing is iv only got one area to work with and its a tent with 400w hps so its hard to seal off a part of it for veg.
What i was looking for was a way to harvest one plant every two-four weeks rather than getting a single good harvest every 4 months or so. The reason for this is i dont know the laws and penatlites for australia as the legal system isnt very open to view like yours is, so really i would have to grow 10-15 plants or so in every harvest to make it worthwhile and that would be too much smell and too much product to hold without knowing the punishment.
So now you know what im workin with, what would you prescribe Dr. Stinky MD

Well the way i see it i can run 9000lumens of cfl at 78F or 55000lumens with my hps at about 82-86F. Iv maxed out my options, i have a cooltube, active intake, passive intake, active exhaust and 2 fans inside keeping the heat of the plants. They look alot happier under the hps but im keepin an eye on the temps too.

it just struck me :wtf: what if i use loryder seeds ? Will this fix my problem. The only problem with that is i have to find someone in the US that will buy them on my behalf and send to me :S Dunno if that will work :(

I was just about to type, this is the appropriate situation in which to grow lowryder. That, or building a second, small room just to start seeds, is a good solution to this problem.
Don't forget to make yourself a seed crop, because LRs can get pricey. I'm not sure how stable the auto trait in the hybrids is, but in the original LR it should pass on to later generations. Obviously, you will want to discard any plant that does not show that trait.

loryder seems the way to go :) Iv heard they can have a very low yeild if not grown properly so i will have to do my homework.
Thanks stinky
