Am I to believe from your comment that I'm being commended *because* of my age, or, *inspite* of it?~lol~ I gather from your comment you're quite young (under 25)? It may amuse you to know that my mind knows no age. I feel like the same person *in many ways* as I was in my 20's.

I just have different circumstances, responsibilities, financial status and home life. Only it's one I've created for myself, so it's completely in keeping with the person I am. Which in it's essense, never changes.

I love the feeling of being stoned, I think it's awesome to have that feeling on tap. Am I ever going to "grow out of it"? ehhhhhhhh, in a word ~NO~ lol

hello to all of y'all ! I'm from south carolina in the us of a and lost my job last week due to a failed UA. i've been dealing with the pissy test since '91 and substitution was my preferred method (condom, clean sample, heated in a cup of coffee, etc.) until i got COMPLACENT and thought that 9 days was enough to get clean. dammit, dammit! of course it came back positive for thc metabolites and i lost my good paying job. as luck (and good skills as a machinist and troubleshooter) would have it i found another equally paying job a couple of days later but i have to pee this morning. therefore i am up early, drinking h2o and loading up on B-12. started loading up on creatine supplements yesterday and was eating red meat like a barbarian for two days prior to today. i'm a wee bit nervous (pun intended) but i'm sure i'll be ok, as it has been 24 days since last smoking, save for a shared bowl 9 days ago. this is my first dilution. what sucks the most is the threat of random screening that i lived with for 12 yrs. resulted in only 4 tests. i went for the entire summer of '97 without smoking and it was not fun!!!! staying clean for no reason is a real pisser (pun again). thanks for all the good info i have gleaned from this website as well as the boards over at marihemp.com! update will be coming this afternoon!

I agree with hunny and lulu, you're never "too old", and age is just a number. I am also the mother of 3. I am 29 years old and have no plans to quit smoking weed. In fact, it is a part of my life, just like food, water, sleep, etc.

[ took the "qdt" drug test at the hospital...it's one of them 'dip it in the pee' cards. standard protocol applies, you arrive and sign in. after an uncomfortable ten-minute wait (bladder about to bust), the nurse saw me, filled out and signed all the paperwork, and she turned me loose with an empty specimen cup w/thermometer strip attached. i beelined over to the already-spied-long-ago restroom and held the cup in my mouth as i fumbled my way into a glorious stream of piss and a nearly cup-dropping sigh of release. i caught 60cc's midstream and almost washed a hole in the side of the toilet so as not to splash too loudly within the bowl. mission accomplished, i examined the urine. it was VERY pale after consuming 16 oz. of water every 45 minutes starting at 6 am and continuing until about 30 min. prior to testing at 11 am. i also took approx. 1000mcg of b-12 each time. still was weak, baby, weak. i'll experiment with mountain dew and fruit to see what gives the best color. for now, i'll just breathe a sigh of relief and stay clean 'til i can freeze my own clean stuff. whew.

Hey, Skid the Kid. I was just wondering...did the nurse come into the bathroom with you? Maybe that's a stupid question, considering I don't know if you're a guy or a girl (I'll just assume you're male). Next time maybe you should bring some urine of a friend who doesn't smoke and then just pour it in the test cup. Just make sure to keep it body temperature. I know a guy that was going to use the piss of a friend but the nurse actually followed him into the bathroom and waited, she was listening to make sure he was the one peeing into the cup. I really don't know if it was legal or not for her to be in a men's bathroom, but it happened. Anyway, good luck with the results.

i was alone in the restroom for the specimen collection. yes, substitution is the way to go, but i don't have any friends here yet (just moved). i plan on staying away from smoking for 45 days and will then freeze my own urine for future use. i have the luxury of a 48 hr. notice of a test now. substitution saw me through 12 years of testing in a prior job. what i do is heat the sample with coffee from my thermos in an insulated mug (the kind with a snap on top...hides the bottle floating around!) and transfer it into a condom before going to the collection site. tucked away neatly in your crotch it maintains 95 degrees for about 15 minutes after being heated initially in the coffee for ten minutes. my wife accidently tossed my supply while cleaning the freezer, hence no plan but dilution!

9 days between toking and testing. smoked a bowl 9 days ago, smoked an eighth two weeks prior to that.
