Suggestion for possible chat client program

Hey wasn't sundance looking for a good chat program to base the new chat upon? Well I know a friend of mine who is a web designer is working on a website now and he's setting up a room based on this client for them, I kinda took a look at it after watching him design the site a bit the other day... I dunno too much about it but it seems legit and like a good one, it offerss a trial period too to test out the software before dedicating to it.

Thought I'd point it out to you guys as a possibility, it'd be nice to get the chat back soon. I know a lot of us miss it.

I'd like to see an IRC based chat. Java/flash clients are always such pieces of shit.

Or atleast a chat that can be accessed via an IRC client and a flash/java app on the site that can be used to access the chat for those who don't want to use IRC.

That's amazing. My post regarding the fact that a chat could easily be replaced here lasted less than an hour. Then it vanished. I repeat with the techno abilites in this site we could easily have a sweet chat but if a post can;t last for more than an hour, how well would a chat do? Anybody getting this?:)

It really isn't that amazing. Your last post contained a little backhanded insult at the site that was completely unnecessary so I deleted it. Looks like no good deed goes unpunished. Now please return to the topic at hand instead of insults.
