New grow in fresh set-up

I have grown a couple times before but only with CFLs, even then I had a pretty good yield..Now I have my new closet set up...with a new 250watt HPS, new 3part nute, carbolaod..and new soil. I also spent the money on good seeds ths time...I Orderd 10 Fem seeds of Brainstrorm from and got 5 random seeds too with the order. I give respect two them two cus the seeds arived in two weeks. My room is not fully set-up yet..I have two things to do, fent for HPS and better mylar linning. But its fine to grow in right now and have before. So I gremed two of the random seeds about 2 weeks ago and they are now both little 2'' seedlings under my HPS..They have only got their first set of baby leafs 5 days ago and their already growing like crazy. They are not fem seeds but I hope they are both fem cus they look like nice plants so far...My nutes are just fox farm and for soil fox farm light warrior and ocean forest, also I have the soil mixed with vermiculite and pertile too... Right now my plants are just feeding off the nuts in the soil and clean water...I have them under 24hrs of light right now but I plan to start 18 tonite or tomorrow. I will have some pics up bu the end of the nite...

thanks for the comment..yeah these little leafs are so green and fat...thinkin indica alreay but alittle early for me to tell...hoping atleast ones a female out of these even tho i have 10 more fem brainstorm but I like the look of these plants so far...good growth rate to...the second pic one the second post is the same plant in the first pic on the thrird post...that was two full days of growth

Couple of things...

1) Might want to refrain from photographing your fingerprints, for obvious reasons.
2) What are your temps?
3) What is the ph of your water, and the run-off?
4) Have ya got enough perlite in there, lol? (looks like a bit too much)
5) Do ya know how to adjust your color balance on the camera? With the hps light, it turns everything yellow and makes it impossible to tell whether or not there is a problem.
Perhaps it's the recent transplant, or just the camera, but droopy leaves and yellowing is not something you want to let go on for any length of time.

Pictures of plants can be lifted from numerous sites around the web. There's only one place to get his fingerprints, tho. :jointsmile:

:jointsmile:Temps are consistently b/w 70-78. Pretty sure it's the camera, some have a BIT of yellowing now, but pretty sure it's just nute/chemical burn a little, not the light being too close or the temps....and no body cares about a couple of plants in maine, take a walk in the woods during the summer months and almost any clearing you come to near a house you'll probably find some nice trees growing...one of the few good things about this place:jointsmile:

I got updates...its been almost a week, 6 days to be right on since the last pis have been taking and it looks to me like they have taken to their new pots and picked up growing again... the bigger plant looks female so far but still hard to tell...and just in case everybody was wondering "theish420" is my grow partner and lives in the same house thats how he knows the deal...but on a differnt note the plants are looking much more healther and green. What do u guys think? And to Rusty Trichome i think if they wanted to bust me that bad they could just trace my computer or IP adress like jackforest said and For them to trace my prints they would have to have orginals to link them to and I have never been in trouble before or had them taken for any other reason so they would be shit outta luck but thanks for the heads up..

I think in the begining i was alittle but in the other pics the leafs are just like that cus i took the pic just 2 seconds after i re potted then so they were alittle droppy...and right now I have the HID on a chains hooked to a pole that about 5'6'' tall and it can go till it touches the pole and i think i will keep it like that till floweing in less they grow outta contorl then i will change it sooner but then I have hooks on the top of the closet to so the HID can go all the way up to 7'.. yeah the stalks are pretty good looking but I love the little branches its starting.

I have one small problem, on the smaller plant some leaves are getting alittle wierd..check them out (two last pics) whats goin on? anyone

yea their pretty dense...okay they are now about 4 and half weeks under 18 of light and they are both showing pistils...I am goin to move the bigger on into a differnt grow box I made out of a gutted fridge....Ill post pics of it later. The plant will have a 150watt hps and two 150watt CFLs, it will be under 12 hours of light so tomorrow will be its first day of flowering. The smaller one I might veg for a week more under a 250watt hps and a couple 100watt cfls. They are so dense, I can't wait to see how their buds form!

okay i guess they dont look to bad...my tall one looks a lil wierd tho i think i might have a problem..It just keeps getting tallers and taller...and the newer leaves are looking weird...they only have 5 or 3 blades on each leaf...I think i need more light for the bud to get bigger...cus with my last grow i used about 2-3 150watt cfls on each plant and this grow i am using 1 150 watt HPS over each plant...I thought the buds would grow way better but I think with a couple 150 cfls i got more light spread in stead of just 2 hps's...so im thinking of adding some more CFL... Does anybody know whats up with my taller one? The first pics are of my taller one and the last in a pic of my shorter ones cola..

I dont think the loss of leaf sets is a big deal, I think its pretty natural. If you look at my grow two of my plants have nothing but three leave leafsets all over it.. as for the yellowing at the top I wouldn't be comfortable telling you as I'm still learning the whole troubleshooting aspect also

thanks 4 the comments...and for the leaf tip..I think it just the pic for the yellowing tho cus the plant tops are still pretty green. This is the end of the 4thweek so i got 4-5 more to go... I bumped up the nutes a little today too cus I had them on a weak system for a while their but I started addin a lil mollasses and carboload for the buds cus the bigger one has so many bud spots.

:S5:I got a little bord tonite so I thought it woul be a good idea to get high and mess with my clones and my clone cabbint for a lil while. I also took some pictures so you guys could see my clones and thier set-up... Waring you its nothing crazy, its just my coner tv stand thats in my room with a couple CFL's set up and a heating pad...I like my set up tho cus its two levels and i have my new clones up top with the heat pad and my older clones one the bottom. The first pic is of the whole cabbint, the second shot is a close up of the inside of the cabbint, the third is pics of fresh clones just taken, and the last is a pic of my oldest clone....their will be new pics updated 2morrow for everybody to see my budding ladies:D
