So ive finally decided on the Vaporstar and was thinking of ordering it from here: V A P O R S T A R (http://www.vaporstar.co.uk)

But one thing I'm confused about and am looking for recommends on, is which Pipe should I get with it? For those that own one which pipe did you order, which hits the fattest?

The Bubble Pipe with a big round bottom or the Narrow Tube Pipe?

I haven't used the Vaporstar, but I can tell you that 'rich' or 'fat' hits mean (for most of us) a lot of vapor and not a lot of air. I don't know if there's much, if any, difference in the two glass pipes/bongs, but I'd go with the tube type over the bubble. There's less space for air storage, so it seems like you'd get less air in your hits. Looks like less chance to accidentally break it too, with the more streamlined shape.

Now that I look at the pic again though, it looks like the tube pipe has a wider diameter stem than the bubble pipe. I'd email Vaporstar and ask if there's a diameter difference. If there is, that could make me change my mind.

How about head-nature.com/05722? Price seems good. Don't know about shipping. everyonedoesit is legit. You should be able to get a refund IMO.

I hate the vaporstar. I bought one and the heat would form bubbles in the resin around the wooden bowl whenever it I smoked out of it. Then I would get this massive headache... I guess from the wood resin vapors in whatever coating was on the bowl.

I just wanted a cheap vaporizer that I could use away from an electrical socket. I tried the "ubie" too, but it was too small.

Now I just put the weed in my glass bowl, tilt it sideways, and hold the flame about an inch under the bowl. 10-15 seconds later I'm inhaling vapors. Once you get the hang of it you can keep the the vapors coming without ever actually burning the weed. I'm sure the expensive vaporizers are a lot more accurate as far as tempurature... but this works for me.

I've seen quite a few people post here and there that they're happy with the Vaporstar. First complaint I've seen other than the typical ones about using a butane powered vape. If you're cooking the wood you're using too much heat or for too long. If your problem was due to the vape's design, Vaporstar would have gone out of business by now.

There are quite a few poorly thought out products on the market that should be out of business by now (but aren't). I never burnt the weed, so the temperatures only got so high, ya know? I may just be more sensitive to wood lacquer vapor then other people.

In any case, I think wooden bowls and flame just don't mix well, even if the inner bowl is metal.

The Vaporstar isn't designed so that you have to heat the wood excessively. And I'd be surprised if there's lacquer on it, considering it is designed to be used close to flame. As for wooden bowls, if you coat the bowl before the first use with honey, to provide a glaze on the wood, it works fine. I used the same little wood pipe to smoke from on a daily basis for over twenty years. Most tobacco pipes have wood bowls. For cannabis, I'd rate wood right behind glass and ahead of metal as the preferred material.

And I have to say it rocks!

It is very pleaseant to smoke out of that. Wow. It makes vaporisation a charm and a so much healthier way to inhale THC. Gr888 Tony Tiger would be proud! I highly recommend it. Oh yes, makes you feel what cannabis is all about, clean buzz, probably similar to gastro-intestinal ingestion, those who tried both could tell us more. I guess since you're not smoking benzene, toluene, cyanhydric acid, tar and much more filth anymore, it makes you enjoy a cleaner buzz. That's my explanation for the buzz part.

For the vaporStar, great handcrafting, though the metal radiator gets stuck in the bowl sometimes, a bit annoying but nothing seriously problematic. Unless you have a similar bong, you should definetly buy one with. Its smallesness and clearness makes it really easy to monitor the vaportisation process and then control the process perfectly. The learning curve was, at least for me, very small, and so it will be for you if you understand the process behind it.

I own more than one and they are total winners. The bubble pipe is the best feeling in the hand, it's the Perfect small size pipe, you can see this in the videos how easy/intuitive you get a 3 finger grip - very nice - the one on his website doesn't show a flared mouth piece which I really like but that just may be that one in the picture the one in his Youtube videos have a flared mouth piece. I have both pipes and thought the strait recliner would be nice but once I went back to the original I realized the original pipe "Bubble Pipe" is the best. For the money everyone should have one of these regardless of if you have an electric vaporizer. :smokin:
