I always seem to get real tired after smoking and if I smoke early in the day it'll carry with me until i sleep. Could this be due to not being in good physical shape, and is it possible to get in shape while smoking?

That's just being burnt out.

Yes you can be in shape if you smoke. And no, being burnt out doesn't mean you're not in shape.

Well I meant Get in shape, as opposed to already being in shape and maintaining it.

Being burnt out is why I only smoke a few hours before I plan to crash. And cannabis does not stop you in any way shape or form from getting fit, dont lets accept the lazy stoner cliche.

Btw smoking after a good workout is awesome

when ur not smoking take half an hour to do some weight lifting or go for a run. youve just got to balance it out well,used to feel really tired all the time now i go to the gym regularly, jog and blaze and it keeps me going. gives me alot more energy whilst being high aswell.

While smoking can inhibit ones tendency to work out, I love doing some types of work outs while high. I do not enjoy intense or demanding workouts...I do those on days when I don't smoke, but low rep high weight workouts seem to be better when Iā??m high. I can really concentrate on the muscles, and feel I get a better workout.

Im going to start getting my lazy ass down to the gym more often and get a bit more fit n healthy.. ;)

yes, Algag. It's possible to be in good shape and be a stoner. I've done powerlifting competitevly and smoked regularly. Now I'm down to walking and swimming for my exercise. We're heading to the pool soon where my wife does water aerobics and I do physical therapy, upper body exercise and some swimming.

Working out has curbed my smoking a little, since I dont like to waste the high, and thats what happens. I cant go to the gym and workout seriously, without going "oh yeah, I WAS high", so its kind of a waste of money. Thats a good thing right? Having something motivate you NOT to smoke for 1 hour a day willingly?

Then you can get big tits like these. Yes its possible.

its actually pretty easy to stay in shape and be high all the time.
work out FIRST, reward urself with a smoke.
stock your house with SHIT THAT WILL NOT MAKE YOU FAT.
ie lay off the 12 packs of kit-kats at wal marts and stick with apples and light lower-salt soups and stuff(i know, they are amazing =/ )

when i know im gona smoke and drive, i purposely plan a route that doesnt pass sonic or wendys. really! because im a slave to my lack of willpower

I always get a little out of shape in the winter b/c I am not a gym guy, but when the weather is nice I like to bike/hike/climb. The trick I find works is to find something that is exercise but you do for fun. Exercise is just a side effect of hiking all day. Plus, blazing in the woods is far superior to the city.

Don't smoke early in the day lol. I usually like smoking before I hit the gym though, the music really gets to me.

I know smoking is supposed to reduce stress but I sometimes get the reverse effect and it seems to exacerbate stress in my back when i smoke. One of my concerns is if smoking stresses the body after a workout and diminishes results. Especially a cardio, trying to exercise your lungs. I smoked cigarretes and recently quit and would like to get some lung power back.

If you are trying to be kind to your lungs, maybe you should cut back smoking. Start cooking with cannabis or check into a vaporizer. I have no experience with them, but they might be easier on the lungs.

Even if you get in great shape, if you tend to smoke early in the morning, of course it'll linger until you go to sleep. That's why you should save your smoking until when you have little or no responsibility to furfil.

I love to smoke in the morning, i usually smoke a nice bowl, drink some coffee or cook a nice breakfast if i have time, then off to school

The buzz sticks with me for most of the day, and by the time i have practice or weights(i do play college football and it is very demanding) it's gone and i can hit one before bed time.

I also, enjoy that buzz before i go to the elementary school, i'm going to be a teacher and 2nd graders are the bomb, the weed just makes more patient and my supervising teacher complemented on how patient i was working with the special ed. kids.

But thats just me, i got a nice schedule down and i do put my sport and my major first before weed, the older i get the better my priorities get and i just got a nice balance.

Some people pop a adderall or ridalin in the morning, i just smoke a bowl, levels me out all day and by afternoon i'm ready to get my work done. Peace.

I actually was never a very good runner till I tried smoking and then running. I don't smoke too much- I think the trick here is not getting "too" stoned.

After I feel a bit stoney I get my music ready and go. It sounds cliche, and saying it sounds cliche sounds cliche, but it really helps me get in this "zone" I've never been able to get into before, and I'm actually getting pretty good at running for the first time in my life.

I go running around sunset- I think that makes a difference for me too.

Smoking actually motivates me to workout. I'm not sure if that has to do with the strain though. I think the strain I smoke is pretty heavy on the sativa side. When I toke it I get energetic and can't even think about sleep for like 5-6 hours. It is like caffeine with a psychedelic twist.

I've heard indica strains give a more "tired" or "couch-lock" sort of high. Do you know what strain you are smoking? My dealer only has one strain, so I'm gonna hopefully grow my own indica this year and what kind of high that gives me.

I prepare my munchies before I get high. alot of SMALL BITES. because I have figured out.... the more small things I eat its like it tricks my brain into eating a big ass meal. so I prepare like 1 sandwich and cut it into like 10 or 20 peices... like a centimeter long. then I eat that and i feel full and my munchies is fine. but i am getting skinny cuz I dont eat and I smoke and I fall asleep at the climax of my high. Then its the next day and I dont think about eating. Then I do it all over again and I dont eat again and again. I was around 200 pounds but now im down to 187 in bout 3 weeks. not very healthy.. but thats the way im living... then I go to work and work out my muscles doin that labor. I feel that marijuana helps me to keep my body at a better weight so that im not fat and unhealthy. but I think I am living unhealthy anyways

I am ALWAYS tired for the rest of the day if I toke early on. I am in good shape too. Kush usually knocks me out the most.
