hi all..,as you can proberly see this is my first post

just joined up after spending hours reading through some great stuff..

i hope to show my progress when i start

ive grow a few times in the past but never under cfls

im going to be growing 2 plants in a small cabnet = 34"h,30"w,20"d in dirt im already clued up on the basics but need some info on these cfls

1 250 watt Grow King 6400k White/Blue Spectrum

2 125 watt Envirolights 2700k Red Spectrum

2 125 watt Ecolights 6400k White/Blue Spectrum

these are all the cfls in my kit..., im going to be running 2 at a time

my question is ... which should i be using for veg/flower??

i know white/blue is for veg and red for flowering but would i be better off mixing for veg/flowering etc

thanks for your time

usually running over about 200 watts of cfl starts to cost more money than running hid lighting, hid lighting will give way more lumens per watt ratio

quote my question is ... which should i be using for veg/flower??

you answered your question, and mixed would be more natural

thanks for your reply

so basicly using these 2 together
1 x125 watt Envirolights 2700k Red Spectrum
1 x125 watt Ecolights 6400k White/Blue Spectrum

for veg and flower

would be the best idea right?

rather than using 2 x 6400k white/blue for veg and mixed for flower

He does have a somewhat small space, so unless the HID was aircooled, CFLS are still the way to go. Still gonna have to have good circulation in your space one way or another. I plan on outfitting a cabinet I bought from Big Lots. It'll be my part of my summer project, creating a veg cab and a flower cab.
