dreadscale thanx for the welcome. still trying to find out what the climate on possession is here in skagit county. any info would be great. coming from the bay area ive lost alot of my paranoia, seeing how their not too concerned with cannabis possession. but all the cops in mount vernon look young and hungry to "save the world" so to speak. TTFN!

Well, I worked in Mt Vernon for about a year or so. I lived for for quite a few years in Bellingham and spent some time in Stanwood.

My opinion is that you don't want to flaunt it in the public, but I can't really say LEO is much different there than any other part of the state. If you get pulled over driving, and you have long hair with a MJ leaf on your t-shirt, you are likely to be profiled than if you are 65 and bald. Don't flaunt it, and you'll be alright.

I'm in the 253 area also ... though in this state, area codes have little or nothing to do with location!
