Please take the time to watch this video, we must remember those on September 11, 2001. We can never forget, and we can not let those who wish us to forget to let us forget.
Never Forget.
If you let it run past the video, there are many good quotes after.

it will never be forgotten, but as more years pass it will lose its true significance and scope. just look at pearl harbor as an example, theres still a little ceromonie for it but most americans could careless.

No dont forget.
Dont forget like....uuhhhh...who did it?
Who..Osama.......?? Anyone looking for that guy in a turban in the mountains? No? Whats that? Iraqs a bit similar?
Torog, not to sound like I'm having a go, but if such things are not worth forgetting (and I dont think they are being) then why has the US Govt seemingly forgotten about Mr Bin Laden and his gang of monkeys?
you cannot saying they are exactly pulling out all the stops in an attempt to find him now, are they?

i won't ever forget the military industrial complex's attack on the US, as the very liars who perpetrated it claim to be spreading freedom and peace to the world through war, and claim to protect us by giving us national id cards, and homeland security and the patriot act and destroy the constitution and bill of rights as our sovereignty's sold out to an ever larger globaly government.
torog will enjoy the dictatorship, until it's his turn to be persecuted.

What excuse is there to provoke war with smaller nations who happen to have natural resources we desire?
We turned a few thousand deaths into over ten thousand more. Im not saying "oh well a few thousand people died" im saying a few thousand people died, why the fuck would we want more to?
Not to mention most of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, not afghanistan or iraq.
"I'm so sick of arming the world, then sending troops over to destroy the fucking arms, you know what I mean? We keep arming these little countries, then we go and blow the shit out of them. We're like the bullies of the world, y'know. We're like Jack Palance in the movie Shane, throwing the pistol at the sheepherder's feet.
"Pick it up."
"I don't wanna pick it up, Mister, you'll shoot me."
"Pick up the gun."
"Mister, I don't want no trouble. I just came downtown here to get some hard rock candy for my kids, some gingham for my wife. I don't even know what gingham is, but she goes through about ten rolls a week of that stuff. I ain't looking for no trouble, Mister."
"Pick up the gun."
(He picks it up. Three shots ring out.)
"You all saw him - he had a gun."- Bill Hicks
The media doesn't want us to forget Torog, don't you worry about that.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country. - Hermann Goering, the second man in the Third Reich.

I think you should make a poll that goes somthing like 'are you opposed to freedom for all' since you believe that anyone against the iraq invasion takes on that way of thinking. I dont know what the result would be but i'm dam sure that you' have a 100% of people saying they are not opposed to freedom for all.
The way the governemnt have gone about the war has crazy, one excuse for war after another. If the government was really opposed to tyranny and eslavenemnt why dont they go and free the people of all the other oppresive governemnts. Surley they could shit all over at some of these countrys military. Buts lets face it, I raq has oil and a stratigic posistion ( hence 14 new permement military bases).

Kuwait has oil also?we didn't "steal" their oil did we?that is most worn out reason people say we went to iraq.c'mon.now that their oil production is higher than it was you would figure our gas would be cheaper.NO.iN time that silly argument will go away just like all the others.then everyone will be saying"we didn't say that" .it's gonna be really funny.almost as funny as saying a high voter turnout was gonna help kerry??you'll see.

That is such hypocritical bull shit. Truth is, if there's nothing in it for big businesses and government, no one gives a crap, and no one does anything about it. Do you realize what's going on in Sudan? the government has killed as many as 300,000 of it's own citizens. Where are the air strikes? Where's Michael Moore? Where's Bush's speach placing Sudan in the 'axis of evil'?
There are so many other countries in the world with regimes just as bad, if not worse, than Saddam's in Iraq. But they're not in the MIddle East, and they don't have huge oil reserves, so who cares?
Get off your high horse and wake up Torog, cause you're totally blind.

Oil was not the only reason but it had its part.
Back at the beggining of 2001 the price of oil was not high enough to be profitable for American drillers, and experts were predicting a price plunge. Texas and Oklahoma insiders were drilling like crazy. They were spending money on oil drilling equipment and new exploration that was just not profitable at all.
The only place the drillers could have obtained inside information that would make such ventures profitable is from the mouth of George W. Bush himself, a seasoned oil business professional who is now President.
The only information that Bush could give them that would make them believe that the price of oil is going to go up instead of down is that he would engage the United States in a major war in the Middle East.
That is why i think oil had some part in it.

I don't know the details on the oil connection, but I know it exists. My point is that 'Freedom', 'Liberty' and 'Democracy' aren't the reasons the US invaded Iraq, because if they were, then they would be involved in tons of more places. In fact, the US cares so little about dictatorial regimes in other places that the vast majority of Americans do not even know they're going on until Hollywood makes a movie about it 10 years later... *coughHotelRwandacough*

bush TRIED to get into the oil buisness but obviously was not cut out for it.he had a company for about 2 years.believe me,he is not a seasoned oil man.the he became a partner in the Texas Rangers baseball team.Bush 41 is the oil man,not junior.besides my SUV would love some iraqi oil! J/K The debate could go on and on,but what's done is done.I don't think it takes a genius to see that thing's are changing for the better and will continue on that path.hey, someone had to do it.germany, france and russia were to busy with there illegal dealing's to even care.boy, they sure are singing a differant tune now!for a country like france, who was selling anti-tank missles to saddam 2WEEKS before we went in to change the way they are talking, that's huge.

Ask bush why he support the house of saud. The excuse is: "they have oil".
amsterdam
02-24-2005, 09:56 PM
if it were because of oil we would have cheap gas?correct?the "house of saud"got mad at us two years ago and tried to embargo our oil,i guess you can see that mattered alot?the oil argument is like playing the race card, ridiculous, and all they have left to use.sad really.

and prince sultan air base wich they let us use to fly to iraq with.when did they let us have that base?in the first iraq war so saddam didn't try to move on their oil fields along the border.that's why.it's a double edged sword.

the oil?we are in saudi because they asked us to put an air base when saddam invaded kuwait.they didnt want his army taking any of their oil fields along the border.if it were for oil we would have cheaper gas.they tried (saudi's)tried to embargo the oil to us about two years ago and it made no diffence at all.im sure you don't know the fact's because you don't pay attention to what's going on.did you really say we wont know anytrhing until HOLLYWOOD makes amovie?that made me laugh outloud !unbelievable to actually hear someone say something like that.

Alot people suffered on 9-11 here are some tributes from www.nineelevenster.com:
"I was there in lower Manhattan on that day and I saw the buildings collapse. It was so scary. I didn't really know anybody that died but I have a lot of friends who know people who died in the attacks. The first few weeks after the attacks were crazy, there were military people with guns everywhere, the smell was terrible and their was so much dust that all of Manhattan was kinda like how the bars used to be before the smoking ban was lifted; it was gross. People that don't live here don't understand what it was like those first few weeks. I use NineElevenster to tell people that it wasn't only the friends and families of victims that suffered as a result of the attacks attacks, but the people who had to breath in their ashy remains as well"
"This site is very important to me and my quest to Never Forget about the widows, because since roughly April 2003, I accidentally forgot. Let's none of us forget the unborn fetus who died in the tragedy. She's the real Hero! Her mother, an undocumented Guatemalan dishwasher in Windows on the World who made minimum wage and was raped by her shift supervisor, was also killed, but we here in America don't give a shit about them illegals, especially if they weren't married. Families first!"
"I have met one of the terrorists (Ramzi Binalshibh) before 911 and now I feel like my life has gained a new level of importance. Thank you 911."
"just what i needed - another online community. and one where i can hit on the wives of dead firefighters! it's about time!"
