Forgive me if this is a repeat thread, I'm not involved in activism.
Imagine if every person in the USA who supports decriminalization/legalization of marijuana went to the local DEA office/ police station holding a bud in their hand on a certain date. Could the government prosecute all of us? It doesn't seem likely. And if they did, would not the common people become outraged at the waste of taxpayer money? Or do the people feel powerless against the government these days?
I'm sure that this isn't an original idea, so why hasn't it been implemented?
Most of the meaningful 'progress' in America has been a result of organized protests in which unjust laws were often broken. I think its just a matter of logistics. I would have no problem giving my friends a bit of herb to support the cause.
