I have some pretty serious problems with undiagnosed adult ADD. I'm not a regular smoker, but a few times I have among friends and I noticed I had some tunnel vision into whatever we were discussing. Others I just wanted to go to sleep.

Any thoughts on using marijuana to help with learning new things or stopping ADD? Seems kind of counter-intuitive.. my limited experience makes me think that sativa strains help me out on this and indica puts me to the couch.

I don't have health insurance and it'd be nice if this was an easy cure.

i use mmj for ADD... wouldn't have finished high school without it... just smoke very small amounts of sativa before you have things to do... atleast that's what I do...

I work in education, and I once had a kid who was ADD who "occasionally" came to class reeking of pot. The ONLY reason he passed 7 grade is that he did his best (often only) work when stoned! The teacher and I just looked at each other, :hippy: , and ignored the obvious smell! By rights, we should have busted his "young and dumb" little arse, but some of us will do anything to get a kid to succeed! lol

Agree - sativa is better than indica for ADD. And the small dose thing is really, really key. You want to increase your focus without decreasing your short-term memory ("working memory"). At higher doses, cannabis use might be counter-productive for focused tasks.
