I have grown a couple of crops with very varied results. I am aware that the plants first few weeks of life can have a major impact on the other factors, yield, potency etc. In order to give my plants the very best this time I have been checking out some grow guides to find out when to first administer nutes. The answers appear to be inconsistent, ranging from applying very light nutrient solution after 2 days of light, to giving nutes after 10 days of light. Can anybody shed any light on this?

They're fine for about 2 or so weeks with no nutes. They have nutrients stored up already when they are seeds, and that's what those 2 round leaves are for, the cotlydons, they are only there for food. Burning them is the worst thing you can do when they're that small.
