HELP! Humidor a good place to Store Weed?

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong thread, but i wanted to know if it is ok to store my weed in my cigar humidor set at 60%. Ive just started smoking weed and its awsome so i thank my friends greatly for getting me into it, but anyways i just bought 1/4th and i was wondering if it would be safe for me to store it in my humidor. If not please tell me what would be the best method that i can store my weed in. thanks for the help

Guessing....no I wouldn't.

Put your buds in an airtight mason jar and keep in a fairly dark cupboard.

If it's setup to actually keep its contents humid, then Weedhound is right... you definitely don't want to use it. Keeping buds in a humid environment is just asking for mold to develop. On the other hand, if it is simply a cedar box (with the humidifying piece removed, or allowed to dry out completely) then a good humidor would probably be a nice place to dry/cure buds. I've always wanted to try it, but my humidor reeks of Dominican maduros, and I didn't want to pass that smell off to the buds.

I dry my mj out and then store and cure it in tupperware containers or airtight jars.

Glass jars are best for long term storage.
If your weed gets too dry, just put a fresh leaf in the jar with it for a few hours.
No need for a humidor.
