HELP! Humidor a good place to Store Weed?

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong thread, but i wanted to know if it is ok to store my weed in my cigar humidor set at 60%. Ive just started smoking weed and its awsome so i thank my friends greatly for getting me into it, but anyways i just bought 1/4th and i was wondering if it would be safe for me to store it in my humidor. If not please tell me what would be that best method that i can store my weed in. thanks

Anything really, I just put it in a ziplock baggy :D

Humidor is fine. Check frequently for signs of mold and lower the humidity if you see any forming, and of course remove the moldy bud from the humidor!
Most people just store it properly dried in an airtight glass jar in a cool, dark, dry place.

I store mine in small Mason jars, in a cool dark location, like Stinky suggested ... I like the idea of humidors, just never wanted to spend the bucks on a good one :jointsmile:

my only concern with Humidors is that from what I remember, Tobacco has a different humidity to burn properly than weed. weed is actually better drier In my opinion. I mean you don't want to throw a silica gel pack in your bag but unless you live in the driest places of the world (american southwest included) a humidor will probably cause more mold than it's worth.

Not sure a humidor would be a good idea unless you had some really crispy schwag you wanted to moisten a bit.

I recently bought some NYCD that was way over dry, it stank up my room, and didn't even give me all that great quality of a high, so i put it in my humidor and now its starting to feel and smell more like some good dank buds. Now to actually smell it I have to stick my nose in the baggie it's in, but it's so amazingly good. Now I've taken it out of the humidor for awhile, because it can get too moist from the humidity, making it difficult to light even. But if it starts to get dry again it's definantly going back in the humidor.:jointsmile:
