I used QF on the 11th, followed the substitution sticky,.but only had the temp up to @94-96 ( The heat pad that came with didn't work very well, I didn't have time to get another, and going by what I have read here, there are some that do not use the heat pad at all, so that is what I did) When I poured it in the cup the temp was barely 94, so I had to work quickly to button my pants up, because I didn't want to lose anymore heat. The tech barely looked at it, and checked the temp box on the form, so I knew I was all good. I also made some light conversation with him about football, to distract him slightly.
It's been over a week now, so I know that I have passed. I have to say that subbing was extremely easy, the only thing I would do different is make sure I had some heat pads that worked well. I would rather have it at @100 and have to cool it down in a few minutes, that have to rush before the temp was too low.
I did practice a few times before the test and I felt comfortable with what I was doing, mostly because of all the info I read here.
I Bought my Quick Fix on Ebay, got 2 ( to split with a friend) then got another 2 for backups. The first 2 had date codes of 11/07, so they were fairly fresh, the second 2, came in the box with the lightning on it, and their code was 11/06, so since QF has a shelf life of 18 months, there is only six months left on them, but they were only $28 shipped for 2 kits.
Thanks to all the other posters here, thanks to you , I had no problems with subbing, I now I can enjoy casual smoking ( never before or during work) and not have to worry about testing.
