Finding an Answer!? [NEED HELP!]

Alright well this is going to be sort a long post but I would appreciate anyone that can help me out here.

First off I have been smoking canabis for about a year or so and have never had any "bad trips" or any type of freak out experince. I recently ran out of my normal bud and was forced to pick up some fairly nice looking mids for a good friend of mine. Last night I decided to smoke some so I loaded up a bowl and smoked while taking a nice shower.

THIS IS WHERE MY QUESTIONS BEGIN!
Anyways I was feeling pretty high and everything was going well until I got into my room. Soon after entering I heard an extremely load roaring (like a jet engine) for the next 5-10 minutes. During this time I was freaking out because I had no clue what the hell was going on. Near the end of the sound all three of the bedroom windows I have started to shake violently (I have no idea if it was real or not). Anyways after the roaring my ears continued to ring starting off quietly and then building up to where if I was not listening to music or talking to myself I thought I was deaf. The ringing continued on till the next morning when I woke up.

After I calmed down I decided to do some crunches (have no idea why) anyways afterwards I tried to stand up and couldnt so I continued to sit on my floor. At this point I completely zoned in to my carpet and after a couple seconds all the little particles of dirt started to glow very brightly (like a christmas tree).

I eventually went to sleep but this experince was terrible and I am beginning to think my weed might be laced? If anyone has had any experince with laced weed or thinks my trip might have been I would grealty appreciate it.

**SOME MORE ABOUT THE ACTUAL BUD!**
I examined the bud closely today and did not see anything unusual until i started to turn one of the nugs. If I was looking at it at the right angle i could see about 5-10 little "sparkles" on the bud. Does anyone know what this could be?!


Like I said any help is appreciated. Maybe I was just high out of mind but I doubt it. Nothing seemed to be like my regular highs .

Well to start off, I doubt your bud was laced. Nowadays it's just not as common for someone to lace bud, it's really not likely.

Also, your "sparkles" are normal, that's THC just glistening hah, it's probably good bud, without pics (and maybe a smoke :p) we can't tell, but it sounds like you had a weird reaction like a nitrous high ;) But try it again? If the same reaction happens then you know it's the bud, but I'm doubting it?

Yeah I know it isnt likely for weed to be laced at all now but I just dont understand what happened. I was talking to a buddy and he said he heard a plane come by about the same time as me but there is no way it lasted 10 minutes. Plus my ears were fucked up for the rest of the night.

The only thing I can think of that might have done is it is the fact that I put a new screen in my bowl before I smoked last night. It was given to me and my friend said he found them under his couch. It looked fine (very then and gold) but could it have been some type of toxic metal? <<<DOUBTFUL

In terms of pictures of the bud I have to use my comptuer camera so I doubt you can tell me anything from this picture but here is one anyways.

I would just chalk it up to another "Frankenstein" strain that was genetically over-bred by growers. This site gets at least one report a week from people who had a bad experience similar to yours. I agree that it probably wasn't laced.

This rarely happens with traditional outdoor grown weed and hash, like the kinds that used to be imported to America.

It may just be good bud, like Chrons mentioned, but I've never smoked anything that gave me a trip like you've described. If your friend knows the dealer that he got it from, and is confident that he/she wouldn't do something like lacing the product, then you probably just got some buds that were more potent than you are used to.

On the other hand, if your friend doesn't know the dealer very well... if the "crystals" you saw were much more noticeable on certain areas than they were all over the rest of the bud, then you may have bought something that was laced. I've heard about plenty of dealers who added something to their product to make the high more intense, but they generally warn the buyer about it. If the dealer did this, and didn't warn your friend about it, then make sure you and your friend don't buy anything else from that dealer... EVER. It's a common tactic for some shady dealers to add crap to their bags to make shitty grass more "potent", and it's not uncommon to hear that batches are in circulation that have had glass, sand, sugar, or a similar substance added to make the product weigh more.

Yeah the dealer isnt shady and I and my friend know him pretty well. I can see him being the type of kid that would do something like that but I really dont think it was.

It scared the shit out of me more than anything. I felt a little weird today but I am fine now. I took the screen out when I got home and I plan on smoking another bowl tonight and seeing what happens.

Yeah man that would be awesome if i start tripping and its fun. I can see something as powerful as what happened last night (if it was positive) being an amazing experience.

By "Frankenstein", I refer to creating ultra-strong strains that would not have developed that way naturally. This is done by mixing different types of weed, which sometimes creates a monster.

I do not pretend to know squat about growing, but I do know that we rarely had these reactions when we had good imported stuff from Columbia, Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, Thailand, Belize, etc. Even "skunk", from the U.S., wasn't causing many people to freak out or have other undesirable reactions.

I blame the commercial growers. They're largely a bunch of know-it-alls who need a lesson in greed-reduction and common sense. Many of them have probably never even tasted Colombian Gold and Red, or good Mexican.

My advice is to smoke VERY small amounts of anything you get, until you know what the stuff is capable of.

That happens sometimes man. Not too often, but when I smoke too much sativa, it will do that to me. It's not any fun, so I've watched what I do a little more closely. My advice is to stick with indicas (they're my favorite anyway), and when you do have a sativa strand, start slowly with just a hit or two, and work your way up. Some sativas can creep up on you, making it easier to smoke 'too much' (of course you can't overdose, but for some reason it just doesn't agree with me in large amounts).

You probully just got a bad rush of parinoia/anxiety or something of the sorts. Maybe you just smoked to quick or got way to high to quick. That sorta happens to me when I smoke hash. I start hearing tons of shit thats not really there like trains,car horns, people yelling, that sorta shit. Its a rush If you can handle it or like it. Like the above mentioned sativas might get to you more because there more of a mind high instead of a Indica body buzz.

Sativa makes you paranoid as hell so your senses tend to get pretty sharp and you sense the slightest sounds, movements etc.

Was a washing machine or a dishwasher running at the time? I know I space out sometimes and repetitive noises just get REALLY loud until I try to focus on something else. Also, if you heard loud noises recently, it could be some residual tinnitus. I have tinnitus, and sometimes when I toke, it becomes unbearably loud.

i never believed pot could really make you paranoid until smoking some really serious blueberry haze last time i was in amsterdam. i was convinced someone had laced it with PCP and I ended up completely freaking out. i've dropped acid before and emotional end of the experience was not unlike a bad trip.

later i found out that this particular sativa can just do that... really fuck your mind up. also I hadn't eaten and had been drinking... and was in a strange environment.

yet i've smoked a good amount of durban poison and it makes you a little trippy but i've never gotten paranoid from it...
