ice water

a friend said when he harvested he would pull the intire plant and place the roots in a bucket of ice water to shock the plant, and that would force the thc to the buds. has anyone ever tried this?

It's a myth.
I mean, go ahead- it doesn't hurt the end product, but if you are dying to chill the roots, you can use ice water as a heavy flush on the 2nd day before you harvest, when you should be doing your last flush anyway.

hello fellow FLian....lol, i shove a nail in the stalks 3 days before i harvest...and leave the lights off for those 3 days...i dont see ice water doing much after you have pulled them.
