I love this idea, it's a group of people somewhere in England who take in scrap, anything from old televisions to rotten pianos, and people pay for the privelage of smashing it up. Some girl who works in IT on telly there was saying she enjoys venting her frustrations after a stressful day in "the office". I know exactly how stressy and depressed I got when I did that kind of work, I used to slack off and fuck about on the internet all the time, take long lunch breaks and turn up late most days. Nowadays I am constantly being told to slow down, or why make things hard for yourself. I just LOVE a good hard days slog, and one of my favourite jobs is smashing fings up! I once tore down a 20ft x 20ft solid wood structure wall down with my bare hands and a crow bar, that was after 3 months living in a squat and cycling 10km in the driving rain to work every morning one winter. I'm not as tough as I was then: not sitting on my arse all day, exercising like buggery, and most importantly (odd as it might sound since I was living in a squat) I got a solid 8 hour shift in every night in sleepy land. And most interesting to note was also that I never ever felt the slightest bit depressed, I was happy as larry the whole time. Normally I get a little bit of the winter of blues, but not this year.
