What you will need:

1/2 ounce of plant material (fan leafs, stalk, etc.) (Pic 1)
1 saucepan
1 packet of cheesecloth
1 medium sized bowl

Cooking part:

Begin by adding 3 cups of water to the saucepan, let it come to a bowl before adding the stick(s) of butter. As the butter begins to bowl add the buds, turn the heat down so the water stays at a simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes. Let it cool down before you strain it through the cheesecloth into the medium sized bowl, grab some tongs and squeeze the rest of the butter out of the strained remains. Now refrigerate for a couple of hours, or put it in the freezer if you can catch it before the water freezes, a lot more easier to work with if the water is not frozen. Finished product should end up looking like Pic 2

Cheers!

how much of this would you have to use for a batch of brownies?
Is it strong and if so how many brownies would you have to eat?

I like to dose my brownies at 1 gram per person. For the cookie recipe I use, its a stick of butter. This is low enough for medical patients to function, and high enough that if you eat two you have a recreational experience. :)
