!The beginner grower!

Hello, I have smoked smoked smoked. I am interested in growing our beautiful god given plant. can anyone tell me what a beginner should do? What seed a beginner should use? Where should I get my light? How should I set up my growing area? Thanks

Start with a strain that is known to be hardy. You can easily be tempted by strain descriptions like 'dripping with resin' and 'smells like a sunset' or all that funny stuff, but go for the CLASSICS, because a plant that lives to harvest ALWAYS tastes better than one that dies somewhere between germination and maturity...
Suggestions: Skunk #1, Northern Lights#5, Pure Power Plant, Hindu Kush, Big Bud, Hash Plant. Keep it simple stoner! And read the link in my siggy for more clues! ;)

[Technique2]

I started my venture from pure curiosity, as well a need to circumvent the lack of QUALITY around these parts.

All you need is:

Seeds/Clones
Pots/Cups
Soil (ensure the soil is not to nutrient rich for the seedlings)
Light - CFL's will do fine for now NOTE: make sure the spectrum is at least 5000k
Location - Dark and Warm

From here all you are required to do is either Germinate the seeds, or drop them directly into the soil. I recommend germinating first as it eliminates the guess work.

You are not the first and definitely will not be the last to jump into this hobby. Spend plenty of time here Cannabis FAQs / FAQ , Recipes, Medical Marijuana (http://cannabis.com/faqs/) to get your knowledge/understanding up, it DEFINITELY helped me a lot.
