My plants have been in the ground for a couple of weeks now. They are on they're 4th set of leaves. When should I add my vegetative growth fertilizer? Now, or when they get a little bigger? I dont want to screw things up. THANKS.

So, I guess this means I can go ahead and add fertilizer.

Things get kinda slow around here on Sundays sometimes. You're fine to start adding a veg fertilizer, just start with a very diluted amount to begin with (1/4 what it recommends) and up the dosage when you know how well each individual plant will tolerate it.

(Edit: If you've added any kind of amendments to the outdoor soil - prefertilized soil, time release fertilizers, etc. - then be extra careful that you don't burn them with too much extra fertilizer. Sorry, didn't realize this was an outdoor grow.)

Take care.

Thanks man. I havent added anything to the soil. Its just miracle grow potting soil mixed with some of the original soil.
