Smoking Method: Hotkniving

Has anyone ever heard of or tried Hotknifing? I've done it a few times and I love it. You gotta be careful though!

To hotknife, the way I do it, is take two table knife, aka butterknifes, and heat them up to red hot on your electric stove or with a blowtorch. Have a one liter soda bottle with the bottom cut out ready to grab. A broken glass bong with the neck still intact works nicely too.(sad story, too sad to talk about, $180 bong >_<)

This works best with really sticky icky super dank ultra nasty "make the bag green" weed, or hash also. But you can really do it with any weed you want. Also works for smoking balls of resin you scrape from your pipes.

Heat up about 1 inch of the end of the knifes to red hot. Once they're red hot, you need to move fast, but be careful. They cool down really fast. Have whatever you're going to smoke lying on a flat surface that isnt going to melt from the knifes. Once they're red hot, put the bottle in your mouth, or have someone hold it for you in your mouth. Put the open end of the bottle a few inches above the weed or resin or hash. Grab the little bugger with the red hot knifes and it will instantly become smoke. Inhale that shit, not too fast not too slow, but dont lose any!! And be ready to cough like hell the first time you do it. Its hard the first few times.
It takes alot of practice. But using this method, you can instantly inhale a whole joints worth of pot if you want. And eventually you wont cough much or at all. Imagine how high you get inhaling a whole joint in one hit!!! omg its very nice. Dont pass out though! I have!! It can give you a huge headrush.

How much do you use for just hash or resin? Just a small ball works, however much you can handle really.

This method isnt for everyone, but I reccomend trying it at least once!

(Touching a red hot butterknife to your face or arm or anywhere is NOT COOL. It will hurt very badly, and you're going to have a scar for the rest of your life. I gotta stress that you BE CAREFUL and never try to hotknife without using a bottle or something. Dont put those blades close to your lips, ever.)

That's frickin' weird. I was starting to lose my buzz from an hour and a half ago so I took a PINCH of this resinated weed I had (awesome creeper dyed black from being doused in liquid resin because it was at the end of the joint) and put it on one of the knifes.
I didn't even have to press the other one onto it, it turned into smoke right there and I sucked it all up.

Well, now from just one hit I'm bordering on being BLAZED. That's pretty good. Awesome body buzz all over.

its very common in new zealand, over here we call them SPOTS.
its easier with two people, one to 'Drive' and one to take the spot.

press the spot carefully but firmly and quite quickly, and the spot will stick to the knife, then turn it over so you can see it, and push the other knife ontop,

the spot will instantly erupt into a cloud of smoke, and after a few seconds will be gone except for a bit of black residue on the knife.

DO NOT USE good silverware, only cheap/stolen/spare butterknives as they will tarnish even after one spot.

The way i do blades is practically the same only i decorate my hooters ^^ i like tricking out stuff and making homemade pipes and so on... i made this really awesome one that u just hold the lighter at the end and u get about as high as u normally would from a blade or lung all i do is basically tap the flame into the bowl(which is made from a socket) and i have 2 pop caps both with holes in the tops and stucka pen in one and the socket in the other and taped the 2 caps together then made sure it was air tight. at the base of the pen tube i glued it with a hot glue gun but jacked some tape from my autobody class and taped around the base of the socket works PERFECT!

I can't believe a lot of you people have never done this. I use to do this over 10 years ago with my buddies, it's easy...I'll try and explain the best I can. This is what you will need:

-Weed
-Cut off, about halfway down the bottle of a small pop bottle, so you have the top half of the bottle
-Blowtorch
-2 kitchen knives, metal or course

Now, what you want to do is roll some small balls of weed/hash up. I mean small balls, if you've never hot knifed before, I suggest small balls about the size of a pellet, for a pellet gun. Now, once you have your balls all ready, you want to turn on the torch at at quite a high heat. Take your 2 knives, and place the TIPS of the knives over the hot flame. In about 1min or so, the tips of the knives should turn red hot. They have to be red hot in order for this to work. Once the tips are red hot, put the top half of the plastic bottle in your mouth, GENTLY pick up a ball using the red hot tip of the the 1 knife, it should just stick to the knife, if it doesn't, heat it up some more. Once the small ball of weed/hash is stuck to the one knife, it will start smoking, take the other hot knife in your hand and press the ball of weed in between the 2 knives, but before you press them together, carefully put the 2 pressed knives inside the bottom of the top half of the bottle, inhale, hold, and cough...repeat.

Understand now? I can't explain this any better than I did. It will send you into a coughing fit and go straight to your head. It's a great way to get ultimatly stoned.

Never did it with weed. We used to do it with hash. Worked very well, but has nothing over hash-under-a-glass

u ppls that say youve nerver done it and will stick to joints and blunts and shit and bouls. u only need like a B.B. sized ball may be to and u will get stoned. not only dose it conserve weed. it also may keep u from failing a piss test

A nice detailed explanation.. If you don't have a friend wit you just use a potatoe masher..

Best use a glass funnel because most people fuck up and burn the plastic bottle when they try to serrve a spot.

like endo said it is very common in nz although most people im wit prefer to roll a jay or cone it because they get too wasted..

I've had alot of practice with spots (have them every session unless im with other people) I don't know about taking whole joints as spots (depending on the size of the joint a racehorse yeah) because if you got just a lil funnel most of the smoke would be floating ut the bottle.. best use a 1l glass bottle. and I have only seen people get worse coughs from spots not better.. one guy coughs up bad .. he rolls on the floor coughing then ends up spewing from coughing so much.

I'm not sure if i heard of this here, but has anyone tried this (don't know if it works, and can't remember much detail, but here we go).. Get a glass (drinking glass, beer mug), and put a bit of water in it, coating the sides and stick it in the freezer until it's frozen, then get a spliff with roach end just inside the edge of the glass selotaped to the edge, then light the spliff and put your mouth over the lit end and blow slowly, so the smoke goes into the glass
Then the smoke should sink to the bottom of the glass/mug, and you can drink the smoke (supposedly) but i've never tried it, as i smoke in my house (bedroom, bathroom, outside) and i can't get the house smelling of weed..
If anyone's done it, or can do it, tell me how it goes, because i think it would be great to try (a novelty for parties and what not)
So somebody try it (if you want) and get back to me on it.....
