First I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to post on the various forums. Your experiences make for great reading and guides if you will for noobs like me.:stoned:

This is my first attempt at my new "hobby" and wanted to share my experience such as other have shared. So heeeere we go....

Seeds are bag seeds that I obtained from a few choice satchels that I "had lying around"

Setup:
6'x6'x8' high Walk In-Closet
400watt MH/HPS light setup
55 Gallon fish tank with Stand 2'x5'x3' high
7" Clip fan to circulate the air inside the fish tank
22" Fan to blow fresh air into the closet
Miracle Grow Organic Choice 100% Organic Mix
6" Pots - for now ; upgrade later
Simple Nuts: Miracle Grow 30:10:10 Veg / Humbolt Nut Mast. A&B + Big Up Powder 0-33-23 (Humbolt Nuts compliments of company I bought my lights from)

Germinated using brown napkins (kind you get from fast food places) and a ziploc bag placed under the light. Seeds had 1/2" - 1" root within 48 hours.

Biggest plants have been going for about 12 days now. All others for about a week give or take.

Temp ranges between 82f in the day and 75f at night. 400watt MH light stays on 24/7. I am having an issue keeping the humidity up in the tank. Any suggestions? A spray bottle is currently being used but I fear mold may develop. Soil temps stay pretty constant at 70f. ph is on the high 7 side and seems to be set and doesnt fluctuate, as of yet.

I have germinated around 25 seeds from various bag seeds and have 21 seedlings growing nicely. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics. Haven't bought a digi cam yet.

These were not all germinated at the same time. These are the results of the past 2 weeks.

Pride and joy!

Should I start the 3 main plants on nuts yet or should I wait? Also, you see the picture with the 3 seedlings in one pot. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/4337/img00431iv3.jpgAt what point should I transplant these into their own containers to reduce shock?

Trying to think if I left anything out. I'm sure I did but will add later. Please leave feedback and suggestions. I take critisim very well.:hippy:

Now im off to see a man about a stinky "horse":rastasmoke:

Don't worry so much about air humidity in the tank as keeping the seedlings properly watered. A couple look real dry.
Also, the soil level in the pots is too low in relation to the rim of the pots. Generally, you want the soil right up to the edge, so that there is good air flow around the base of the plant.
Other than that you look like you are doing fine!

I'm a bit curious about using the aquarium...? Any specific reason?
Was under the impression that glass traps light, and retains heat.

Oh shoot one more thing- next time only put 1 seed per pot! You will end up with problems down the road.
