Has anybody tried to join the Chruch to smoke Pot?

I was just wondering if anyone has joined http://www.thc-ministry.org/ to smoke legal buds here in CA?

I know about the card program, I'm just afraid of what the feds will do with the names on the safe list. It still sounds to me like shooting ducks in a barrel for them.

I understand you don't really need to register just have a script from your Doctor. The registration program still sounds like a way to track all of us for quick and easy round up. Or at the least a list to harass us when they are board.

What do some of you think, Iâ??m still torn as what to do. I guess in the end itâ??s still up to the Supreme Court before deciding what to do.

I've never heard of this church, please explain. You're right though, who wants thier name on a list?

I found the link on another site. I have read everything I can find and it sounds right. Eddy Lepp is trying this as his defense. They say they have him selling a pound to an under cover narc. So I think that negates the religious defense but in Hawaii it sounds like it works. I read on several other boards of other people using it as a defense and winning. The American Indians can use Hemp and Peyote in the practice of their religion and the Rastafarians use Cannabis so why not?

I know logic thought has no place in law and justice is only for those who can afford it. I donâ??t think this would keep a cop from busting you. The judge is another story; they may buy the argument and release you well thatâ??s the hope anyway.

Yes, I use their "Cannabis Sanctuary Kit & Legal Defense Package". I also do not have a medical card in either SF or Oakland. I use my doctors letter/prescription shrunk down and laminted for my wallet. I do not have a card because I do not wish to be registered with any city/government agency.
