Hey all newbies...killerweed...FakeBoobs. What's new? Not much I can see. Same nervous posts...god does it bring back memories.
For all the newbies...use the search feature...no really...use it. Spend some quality time reading a lot of posts...the last thing you want to do is piss off FBR...I can tell you from experience. :)
I'm about a month into my new job...adjusting as usual. No randoms as of yet but I've been using the jock strap method a few times a week when I get that nervous feeling and I keep my QF in an empty coffee cup in case i need to zap it in the microwave on short notice...works very well.
I bought a jock strap, warm up my QF in the microwave in the morning, tuck it into the jock strap pouch under a pair of underwear and it stays at 96 degrees...ALL DAY LONG...no heat pad required. No worries about it slipping out. I usually check once I get back into my car at the end of the day. Highly suggested if you are worried about just pouching your QF in your underwear.
I hope this post finds you all well. It feels good to be smoking again, although I've cut down quite a bit...job has been demanding lately and I don't want to be dopey at work after a night of smoking so I've relegated my puffing to the weekends for the most part.
Good luck to everyone and remember...the 3 P's...Practice, practice and practice. Good luck to you all. FBR and Killerweed...you should be receiving some type of award for your consistent help and support here. See ya!

Testing, you've never pissed me off. You must have me confused with someone else or didn't get my sarcasm!

Sorry..poor choice of words on my part. Oh, I got the sarcasam. I had to resort to "Just for Men" hair coloring to get out all the grey hairs after you told me "You're screwed if you used synthetic on a 9-Panel test". HAHA! I'll be lurking from time to time. Until then...wish I could burn one w/ you to celebrate and offer my thanks! Keep up the good fight!

Yeah I remember that post that was so hilarious. I remember that testing, how you almost went into cardiac arrest. FBR got you real good then. Ha Ha I laughed so hard. Peace brother. Today is actually my 100 day anniversary of being clean. After 15+ years toking daily I still can't believe it. Stress is gone of worrying all those sleepless nights if my life would be ruined over a positive us. Been having wierd dreams though ever since I quit. Anyone else have these wierd dreams after abstaining for a long while?

Slanted I have noticed the same thing since being clean. I tend to remember my dreams more often and they are quite vivid and are weird for the most part.
To go along with that I have also had a lot of lucid dreams as of late (realizing i'm dreaming and being able to control the dream pretty much). Good stuff

Hey Testing!!
New to this site. I found this Website because I was scared shitless about my urine test, which I took on March 4th. I got great feed back on the QF from Killer and Fakeboobs. It is now March 12th, and no news is good news. I talked with the lady in HR at my job, who is pretty cool and down-to-earth, and informed me that if a "Red Flag" came up, I would already have been notified. So, as soon as I get the confirmation that I passed, I'm gonna roll me up fatty......I'll keep everybody informed.

Not to hijack the thread, but rarebut if they don't call you I i'm pretty sure that means good news. Now someone correct me if i'm wrong before he smokes but I think that's the case

Yeah..I've actually noticed that a few times when I had to stop smoking because of lack of bud or...just stopping. I'm not so sure it's that you have weird dreams...but that you actually remember them....they all seem to be weird for me. :)
For some reason...and your post seems to confirm my suspicions, the weed seems to block out the ability to actually remember your dreams. I'm guessing it probably is because of multiple reasons but I would think the short term memory loss thing is a big part.
When I was prepping for my test, I was remembering dreams every day. While they seemed wierd at the time...didn't they always seem weird before your days of smoking?

Thanks man...glad to see you're still providing sound advice for those in need. I'm starting to think that my company does not perform randoms but I'll be prepared until I know for sure. I'm waiting for the day when someone in my office mentions that they have to go for a random.
The funny and scary thing about it is that I can spit on the medical building from my building so I'm not going to have a lot of time to prepare should a random come up. I've been trying to find the heat pads that you showed me once...have tested a few..but can't find anything that can heat to temp in 5-10 minutes so I've been spending a few days a week w/ QF stuffed in my jock....fingers crossed.

Congrats man...you've got more will power than I do. I think you made an awesome choice. I've cut down...a lot...and I've noticed without a doubt how much sharper I am on a daily basis. I'm sure the day may come when I say goodbye forever but I'm just not quite there yet. Good luck!
