When To Bud ?

im living in indonesia with tropical season, and full light all day, i was wondering when were my babies are ready to buds, and how many hours of lights, or how many months till it ready to buds ?

i'm not that shure about indonesia, but in the USA, where i live, the flowering season begins in augest and lasts until september or october.

generally speaking in any part of the world (from what i've read) if you start growing outdoors the guidelines are that you start on MAY and finish around SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER....another factor is the type of strain , if it is indica or sativa dominant....indicas finish sooner than sativas.....

In the summer the equator has less hours of light than anywhere north. In other words any seed made to finish early will start to bud instantly. Especially if it is from Canada or Holland. Is Indonesia in the Northern Hemisphere?

i dont know whether indonesia is on northern or in southern, all i know indonesia is above australia, i have sativa strain, and it doesnt snow here, it only have two season, rain and dry season, so probably 6-8 month period, o supposed ?
