I absolutely love your huge collection of cannabis related medical literature!
I have recently been searching the web looking for info on cannabis for allergies.
I believe it is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune system regulating effects of THC and other cannabinoids, but was wondering if you had ever seen any medical literature to support this?
It is odd that when my nose is all stuffed up or runny and I have itchy watery eyes and an itching burning throat and trouble breathing, etc... I inhale smoke, which is bad for the breathing, but it stops all the allergy symptoms dead in their tracks... strange magic.. o that is a good song by the way
p.s. All I could find was related to using cannabis lotion to treat topical allergic reactions. Plenty of web sites on that with mice studies...lol

Man... it also happens with me... before i start to smoke, i had several respiratory alergies, my nose was frequently blocked, my throat would itch awfully, and so... and after i started to smoke this symptoms lessened very noticeably...
In my own case, i think weed makes my nose and throat a bit numb, so i dont feel the allergic itch... also, i think it relaxes my face muscles, and it seems to help to unblock my nose...
Weed is a miraculous plant indeed! :rastasmoke::jointsmile:

Cool, thanks Coelho!
I am not alone with this... haha
I just bought a vape and quit smoking! Do you still use hash oil most of the time?

However, cottonmouth suggests that cannabis does dry out mucous membranes (well, duh!). The anti-inflammatory properties are well documented, as are the bronchodilator effects in asthma. It would seem logical that cannabis would have an effect on allergic reactions. Sadly, I have found not a single bit research on this particular topic, but I'll keep looking! Asthma, which can be caused by allergies, however, I have a number of!

I'd try running searches on the doctor's names. Quite often, they will be specializing in a certain area, and will have several related papers. Wish I could have helped more! - Granny:hippy:

Do you still use hash oil most of the time?
I only smoke hash oil... since the day i got the amount of weed i would use to roll one joint, made hash oil with it and it lasted one entire week of daily smoking... my supply of weed is very limited so i MUST use it the less wasteful way i can... :rastasmoke:
