Hey how are you yall? I love love love this site. its so amazing and so helpful for me regarding cannabis culture and growing and especially everyone who is unknown to the extent of marijuana's godly properties as medicine. Anyways, all of that rambling aside...I am going to visit Athens, GA on Monday. So, anyone on the board lives there or around there? I would like to meet some people and hang out and discuss about life or anything what not. Smoke one for me y'all. Bless y'all

Treating Yourself.com magazine had an interesting article written by a deaf cannabis user in issue #9 which is available, free, on line here....
Published Issues - Treating Yourself (http://www.treatingyourself.com/dhtml/issues.php)
Welcome to C.com. Hey, it doesn't matter if you are deaf- the internet is the great equalizer! You can't hear the printed word! So in a sense, we are all deaf when we're on line! And there are already a few deaf members here, but I'll let them introduce themselves.
Some of my kin live in Georgia, so who knows, we may even be related! lol No matter what, we are all part of the great Cannabis family! So welcome, "cuz". Wander around and get to know the place. Be sure to check out the stickies at the top of each forum. They are all worth reading! - Granny:hippy:

I attended college in Athens, I've got a lot of good memories of that place. Lots of great bars and restaurants, but the college kids tend to get a little rowdy every now and again over in that area. Beware of late-night roadblocks, they've been cracking down on DUI's for years down there. Haven't been there since '03, so a lot has probably changed, but I'm sure it's still a fun place to be!

"From the hills of Georgia's northland beams thy noble brow, and the sons of Georgia rising, pledge with sacred vow." :D
Thanks for giving me a reason to recite that again... been a little while!

Crispi, thanks for the warm welcome. According to my knowledge, theres two theories on my deafness: Either i was born deaf bc my ma took some medicine that supposed to benefit my prenatal development... it backfired or my eardrum simply cant function. its all good!
