Hey peepl,
Jst thought it was about time to share my experience with y'all! I have been growing in soil, with 70-80% coco, 20% bio bizz all-mix , and 5-10% perlite/ Hydroton clay pebbles - I know it is an usual mixture of soil & hydro mediums, but it seems to be working well, after some trial and error with ratios!
I have been growing the 2 Hawaiians for 1 month longer, so now I'm trying to get the clones to catch up with the others in veg. I've been doing this with superthrive & a week solution of Nitrozyme. After 3 weeks I thought I'd repot & check the root balls - the 2 droopy, short plants seemed to have better roots than the tall & dark green ones, so I am wandering how to get them all the same - any ideas would be much appreciated!? From previous posts I see that the droopy ones are getting too much light, while I initially thought the tall ones were, but the roots tell the real story!
As far as the taller plants go (1foot & a half, compared to 5-10 inches) I have tried some seriously late & crazy LSTing (have managed to combine coat hanger, twisty tie, and thread) to make the most of this extended veg - but the plants seem to be handling it ok, plus the stems/ future buds are getting more direct light - what do you think , is this crazy idea or do-able?
What do all you pros reckon for my 1st time shennanigans?
I have 4 or 5 photos, but I don't get the option to upload photo attachments - can anyone help with that as it would really sell the story?
