New Parent!

Well, I am old enough to be the mother of many of you here- but in one week my husband and I are traveling to Africa to get our first and probably only precious daughter- she is seven and BEAUTIFUL, and it has taken us so long to get to this point in the adoption saga...many tears, many years. But now we have our plane tickets with her name attached to ours - it is a gorgeous blend of Ethiopian/Scottish/American. I am too excited for words! Just wanted to share our joy! I am finally going to be a mommy - big happy sigh:hippy:
