Noob needs some Q's answered

Ok hi, i am about to start my first grow but i have a few questions i just couldn't find a good definite answers for..and sorry if they've been answered already on here, but i couldn't find them haha

1. What is a good strain for a beginner? Something that can take some abuse from a beginner gardener haha

2. What is a dependable site to buy from? I've searched around the net and a lot of the websites look rather unprofessional so i'm kind of hesitant to buy before asking. Also a website that will ship to the US (California)

3. How long do seeds last? Do seeds ever go bad? All websites i've seen sell around 10 seeds at a time, and my closet can only hold maybe 2 plants max. Do i need to store them any special way or can i just throw them in a bag and leave em?

Again, sorry if these questions have been answered before but i just couldn't find them :)

Indica dominant strains are easier to grow than Sativas according to Jorge Cervantes in the Growers Bible. I've never bought seeds online but if your in CA you should get your Dr. recommendation so you can get clones from a club or possibly seeds. At least with the clones you know they are female. Storing you just want them to be in a dark dry place. A film canister works good. They should be good for at least a year if there good seeds. By good I mean they are dark and molted looking, not white or green and small. Good Luck:thumbsup:
