I have a bong and the bowl for it is broken you can take it out but the vase itself is fine the bowl i think is superglueable and i don't think direct flame will touch it. I will post a pic of it really soon. You guys think i should super glue it? I think i should cuz resin will build on top of that at it will be sturdy.

No! Super glue has NASTY things in it; specifically, CYANOACRYLATE!!! Scary! Don't poison yourself!
REplacement sliders are about $10-$15 at any head shop for the inexpensive plain glass funnel-type ones, and I've seen handblown slides as low as $20.

Yea stinky ur right i gotta get of my lazy ass and go look for a slide. I live amazingly close to a hs. If i don't find anything a tho is there anything safe i can use? Probobly not. Am really pissed cuz both my bongs are broken and i don't have enough money to buy a new one.

honestly dude, sliders are easy to find, or you could even make one out of aluminum (which is STILL better than super glue)

I used to make pipes out of aluminums. That is the worst thing you can possobliy smoke out of to me. Because it used to give me a really bad headache and turned my high into shit. I am looking for a slide they don't have any in the headshop i bought it in. They said they can order but it is gonna take a couple weeks. I am probobly gonna get another bong. I might just glue the bowl for this just for decoration and don't smoke out of it.

I really suggest just heading to the head shop... SO cheap... like trying to make a new exhaust for your car out of ductwork and rivets when you live down the street from a parts store.

For the record we don't discuss home-made smoking devices here so all I can say is BE SAFE- no crazy glue, aluminum, or other random adhesives.

I wasn't around for that. I'm happy to follow the rules but was there a certain reasoning for banning that discussion?

Was it clogging up the boards with the whole "look what I made"

Or did it take away from the seriousness of the site?

Quite frankly, it's a basic safety issue as you can see even in this thread, so we all advise sticking to tried-and-true smoking devices from a reputable head-shop. I hope this makes sense.

That's pretty sound thinking. I can definitely appreciate that.
