I can't find the chart. Seems there was one on this site years ago. It showed the life cycle of the plant and how much is consumed at each stage.

The reason I ask is I have a mag. def. with this strain I'm now working with (cheese). I believe it starts immediately after put into flower. Symptoms show at about day 7 or 8 (burnt leaf tips) and by day 14 I'll start to see the the interveinal nercrosis.

I assumed CalMag would resolve this. So next time I'll start boosting the CalMag while still in veg. This should resolve the problem.

Anyway, if someone knows where such a chart is I'd be grateful if you could clue me in to it's whereabouts.

I haven't seen the chart, but foliar feeding with Epsom salts mixed at a pinch or 2 per quart spray bottle will take care of the problem right away without the risk of locking out other nutrients because you have too much Mg in the soil.
Cheese, eh? I just got my smelly paws on a cut of that last month... Even the tiny clone smelled quite pungent. It's a skunk kinda world lately; along with that, I got Mass Super Skunk and also recently started Donkey Dick... I've never really played much with skunks before so this is a lot of fun!

Thanks Stinky. I'll try foliar spraying next time.

While I think CalMag is a great product, it does raise the ppms quite a bit and that concerned me. Last time I added it to my reg. nutes my ppm was over 2400. And that included only 70% strength per Fox Farm nute schedule and that was at end of wk 3 or beginning of wk 4.

I believe most manufacturers recommended rates of application are very high for indoor use. Since they are in business to make money they will recommend the highest dose they believe they can get away with.

You have to take the CalMag application rates with a big grain of salt. They assume you are using purified water of some sort and starting from NOTHING. If you are using tap water, you might not even need it, or only need very little. If you are running in coco, you might even need more!
You gotta cut back on your other nutes when adding a supplement so your ppms don't skyrocket like that- yikes!
