Just felt the need to tell anyone and everyone my stroke of good luck, I am really excited about this and some of the posts here really hit home for me.

I said all along after my first UA that I would never smoke again on probation.. yeah that did not happen. Every single time i went into my PO's office I was completely scared about it and it drove me crazy. Every time I smoked I couldn't even enjoy it I was completely paranoid. Talk about a major buzz kill.

Well I had been 18 days clean this time around and decided to test myself prior to going in. I past on my first void of the day and was confident as hell.

I got a new PO this time around because my old one is no longer employed for some reason or another.

Needless to say we hit it off great, I was not scared about a drug test or anything so I did not look the part of a stoner.

She gave me the usual run down and asked me about my charges.. said they were drug related etc etc. She asked me if I had anything else to complete during my probation.. I said no, I had completed everything that was court ordered and paid my dues, was getting good grades in school and was in the process of finding a job.

She realized I had been on probation for 9 of my 24 months thus far and had not at this point violated. I was on three month probation at the time (meeting on a 3 motnh basis vs monthly) She stuck me back on 1 month meetings just to get to know me better which kind of sucks I guess. But then she told me this.

She said that she knows i'm not a bad guy and that I have cooperated with everything. She looked at me and said that she will indeed test me every time I come in from now on and in June of this year she will let me off early.

All i gotta do is keep this up for 3 more months of staying clean and i'm not going to risk it. I will be off probation an entire year early (only serving 12 of my 24 months).

I am really happy right now and really, the best advice i've heard on this board is: the 100% sure fire way to pass a drug test is to not smoke and I am definitely taking that to heart.

90 more days and i'm a free man. Not to worry though, i'm still going to stick around here giving my two cents as much as possible to help people out... But i must warn you I might be completely baked when doing so :)

I know it seems hard to do but I did it. I smoked for 15+ years daily 2-5 times a day. I have been clean for 93 days now. I went through some incredible stress cleaning out for this great job I got and passed my ua after being clean for 49 days. I am subject to randoms and will not go through that kind of stress again. It seems that a dirty piss test can ruin your life forever along with your families lives. I have decided to quit and live life stress free and believe it or not I really feel good inside. Good luck to you and do not risk getting caught dirty especially on probation. It is not worth ruining your life and going to jail. Mine was just for this incredible dream job, yours is about not going to jail, remember that. Peace!

Kindbudz- I am not going to stay on AIM this morning because i'm going to be playing WoW and it really slows things down. I will be periodically refreshing the forums every 15-20 minutes so post back here if you would like me to log back on AIM and I will answer any more of your questions if you still have them.
