Sorry but I'm not real good with computers. I came back to this site after a 5 year absence with the intention of helping others as they helped me.

Granted I don't have as much free time as I would like. You almost have to be unemployed to answer a lot of questions.

About the black square--does it mean someone doesn't like my input? The only time I disagreed with a post the poster got upset. Unlike many 'experts' I will not repeat the same answers they read over and over. In this case the poster stated that you need to change your carbon every 2 or 3 crops. Obviously they have not purchased and use one. Most are projected to last 18 to 24 months. Mine is in it's fifth year and there is still no odor in my attic.

I'm speaking from experience. I try very hard to give answers based only on my experience and not what I've heard from other people and sites. Am I being unrealistic?

Perhaps someone can tell me what I'm doing that's inappropriate?

Thanks for your feedback.

It means your feedback is turned off.
You can turn it back on in your 'user C.P.' at the top of every page.
Then click 'edit options', and check the box for 'show my rep' level'.
Then scroll down to the bottom and click 'save changes'.

Thanks PSteve. How does feedback become turned off?

Thanks PSteve. How does feedback become turned off?I think it may just start out being off, until you turn it on.

lol, I never got upset, dude! Calm down, that was called a 'disagreement'. I gave you my opinion, and even gave you a +rep asking that we not hijack that thread any further. There were no hard feelings, I never claimed to be an 'expert', and I gave an original opinion.

Get off your high horse, chief... there's no room for that shit here.

Here's a link back to our conversation, since you've apparently forgotten everything that either of us said: Effects of Ozone (http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-growing/150110-effects-ozone.html#post1818775)

I'd like to remind you - again - that you've apparently never built one yourself, and shouldn't be telling others how long they can last. You're the first person I've ever heard make the claim that the filter has been used non-stop for 5 years, and hasn't lost any effectiveness. And I also never said they become 'ineffective' after nine months, I said they "begin to lose their effectiveness". After which I spend the $5 and replace the carbon, which takes a whole ten minutes.

Please don't spread any more rumors about me. I try, just as you do, to help people when I can, and MOST of what I write is based on my own personal experience... generally from goofing something up. I don't frequent any other sites, because my leisure time online is also limited... and I've found CannCom to be one of the best. Lastly, since you're obviously wondering, I'm self-employed... so it's true that I don't work 9-5, but I do work either from home or at an office roughly fifty hours per week. I'm lucky if I'm able to make 2-3 posts here throughout a typical day.

Take care, and try not to take criticism so personally.
