So could a bonsai mum survive adequately as a window sill plant?

Ive never tried it but i would think that would induce flowering or stress the plant. The idea for a bonsai mum is for her to pretty much live an effortless exisatance except for the occasional hair cut. :) Next to a window there would probably be to little light to keep her happy and in vegetative mode. But that is just a gess, Im not a window weed grower. :)
