anyone know why it would have pink and purple hairs?

Strain. Some do that. One phenotype of my old standby Yeag's MTF shows lovely pink hairs on some buds... mmmm!!

I Recentely Scored Some Pink Kush In Vancouver
which had pink hairs and tasted just like you described.
You just might have Pink Kush wich is a pretty rare strain:thumbsup:

if its expensive chances are its pink kush,In Van,due to the small amount the grower harvested & like i said because it's rare,
there were no price breaks above 45$ per 8th!
(he wanted his whole circle to have the opportunity to sample)
