Uncle Ulcer

So today i get to go to the stomache doctor!! yay!!:(
They think i might have a bleeding ulcer, but that isnt gonna stop me from chokin on my breeeezy:thumbsup:
My real question is has anyone here ever had a stomache ulcer of any kind?

My auntie had one a while ago and she says there quite painful and take ages to go away..

Many ulcers can be treated with certain kinds of anitbiotics now. Apparently they used to think they were all caused by stress and acid and certain foods. Now they know that a lot of them are a kind of infection that is irritated by these other things. So they give you some kind of stomach-coating medicine, like Pepto, to sooth the stomach and protect it, and they give you antibiotics to fight the infection.

I went to the doctors. Turns out i have a Hiatal Hernia, which is basically my stomache is constantly trying to push into my esophogus(Sp?). Im just glad it wasnt an ulcer:thumbsup:
When i was under anesthesia i remember being kinda of awake gagging really bad with the camera in my stomache, but thats it. It wasnt painful at all like i was thinking it would be, and feel great the next day :)
