Legendary blues and jazz guitarist Jeff Healey has died, his publicist said Sunday. The Canadian musician had battled cancer his entire life.

Canada has lost one of it's few great musicians. And at such a young age. RIP Jeff Healey, you could play.

Thats a shame. I never realized he had cancer since he was 1 year old. Another great musician gone.

There's a video of him playing, with Dr. John on piano. I don't care much for the Jimi Hendrix style of playing with his teeth, but despite the theatrics he was very good. I only hope that there are recordings and/or footage of him playing 1920's and 30's jazz, which he loved.

and he lives on in my heart at least.
