View Full Version : Sour Diesel - Do you toptie it down?

Have done Sour Diesel a number of times with pretty good yields everytime thus far. I am starting up another project right now, and I am curious if the strain responds well to being tied down in order to bring up more secondary shoots.

I don't top, I think it's a bit out-dated when you can just tie down and not lose a week of veg time, but I love seeing plants with tons of smaller shoots all in an even canopy reaching for the light.

Has anyone used these methods for SD? How does it compare to just letting her go? My yield is over an ounce a plant without topping, a bit gun shy to mess with that but I was told by the person I get the clones from that he tops them with good results as well.

Somewhat easy to grow a nice yielder, know a bunch of people locally who grow it as well.

Love the taste and smell too, just an overall pretty damn good strain.
